Why homeowners call us

How we work

No big promises — just a straightforward process you can follow from the first call to the final walk-through.

  1. We show you what we see

Every inspection comes with photos of the actual problem areas, so you're never asked to take our word for it.

  2. You get it in writing

A clear estimate that lists materials, labor and any decking allowance before you sign anything.

  3. Repair first, replace if needed

If a repair will do the job, we'll tell you. We only recommend a new roof when the old one can't reasonably be fixed.

  4. We leave the yard clean

Tarps protect landscaping, debris goes in the dumpster, and a magnetic sweep picks up stray nails from the driveway and lawn.

FAQ

Common roofing questions

How do I know if I need a roof repair or a full replacement?

It usually comes down to the roof's age and how widespread the damage is. A few missing shingles, a leaking vent boot or loose flashing can typically be repaired. Widespread granule loss, curling or cracked shingles across many slopes, soft or sagging decking, or repeated leaks in different spots often mean replacement is the better long-term value. A hands-on inspection is the only reliable way to tell.

How long does an asphalt shingle roof last?

Most asphalt shingle roofs last roughly 15 to 30 years. Architectural shingles generally outlast older 3-tab shingles, and lifespan depends heavily on attic ventilation, installation quality, and weather. In areas with frequent hail and strong wind, like northeast Oklahoma, roofs can wear out sooner than the manufacturer's rating.

Will my homeowners insurance pay for hail or wind damage?

Many homeowners policies cover sudden storm damage such as hail or wind, but coverage, deductibles and claim deadlines vary by policy. Normal wear and tear is usually not covered. Check your policy or call your insurance agent, and document the damage with dated photos as soon as it's safe to do so.

How long does a roof replacement take?

For a typical single-family home, a full tear-off and replacement usually takes one to three days. Larger or steeper roofs, replacing damaged decking, and rain delays can add time. Expect noise during work hours and plan to keep cars out of the driveway.

What should I do if my roof is leaking right now?

Move furniture and valuables away from the leak, put a bucket under the drip, and if a ceiling is bulging with water, a small hole can relieve the pressure safely. Don't climb onto a wet or storm-damaged roof yourself. Take photos for your records, then call a roofer to have the area tarped until it can be repaired.
